Sigurbjörn (Siggy) L. Thrastarson- Training Manager
EASA Part-66 licensed engineer and Part-147 training leader with extensive 737, 747-400, 757, 767 and 777 instructional experience, combining training management, examination oversight, course development and real-world maintenance credibility in approved aviation training.
Sigurbjörn Þrastarson is an EASA Part-66 licensed engineer and Part-147 training leader with more than 20 years of aviation maintenance experience and a strong track record in technical instruction, examination oversight and course development. He currently serves as Training Manager, Examination Manager and Instructor, combining operational maintenance credibility with the standards required for approved maintenance training. His licence categories include B1.1, B1.2, B2 and C, and his instructional scope spans the 737, 747-400, 757, 767 and 777.
His background includes deputy training and examination management responsibilities, subject-matter ownership for core Part-66 basic modules, co-authorship of a Part-147 Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition (MTOE), and the delivery of both classroom and online instruction in theoretical and practical environments. He has also written differences training material and delivered recurrent, basic and type-training courses internationally. Supported by recent training in Part-145, Part-66/147, Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, CAME and Part-M/CAMO, he brings a practical, compliant and operationally relevant approach to aviation maintenance training. He works confidently across multicultural settings and is fluent in Icelandic, English, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish, with additional German proficiency.
Davíð Aron Guðnason – Quality Manager
David Aron Guðnason is an aviation quality and compliance professional with more than 25 years of experience across airline maintenance, MRO operations, technical training, and regulatory oversight. He has held senior roles including Director Line Maintenance at Air Atlanta Icelandic, Director Quality and Compliance at Challenge Technic, Technical Director and Manager Quality & Training at SO Tech, as well as management positions with WOW air.
Across these roles, he has been responsible for quality and compliance systems, internal audit planning and execution, liaison with authorities including ICETRA, and the oversight of training records, training systems, and employee requalification.
David’s background is grounded in practical aircraft maintenance as well as management. He holds an EASA Part-66 Licence with multiple type ratings on Boeing and Airbus, and has also held Form 4 responsibility under Part-145/MOE.
That combination of licensed-engineer credibility and quality-system leadership gives him a balanced, operationally informed approach to audit readiness, procedural control, and continuous improvement.
Before moving into senior quality leadership, David progressed through technician, lead technician, planning, training, and line-maintenance management roles, giving him a broad understanding of how standards are applied in day-to-day operations. He has also led sizeable teams in regulated environments, including oversight responsibilities for organisations with large maintenance workforces. At P & P Aviation Training, David’s focus is on supporting a strong quality culture across the organisation, ensuring that procedures, records, oversight, and delivery remain aligned with regulatory expectations and the professional standards expected in aviation training.
Phoebe Suet Pik AU YEUNG – Accounts
Born and raised in Hong Kong, attended university in United States, graduated with a bachelor degree in Communications.
Phoebe worked in customer service department for Cathay Pacific Airways at Hong Kong International Airport with outstanding achievement. Then she moved onto marketing and corporate communications role in two major serviced apartment companies in Hong Kong.
In August 2016, Phoebe and Peter moved to UK and found P & P Aviation Training, she has been involved with managing the company and handling with the finance. She believes in providing good and attentive customer service, meeting the needs of the clients and individuals students in order to deliver professional training.
